4 Nights

On this itinerary, we take you to a private concession in the exclusive southern sanctuary of the park, hours from the nearest lodge. It is true luxury to have pristine African bush, flush with wildlife, all to yourself, but you will have it here. A hotspot for lion, Zambia’s endemic Thornicroft giraffe and colonies of the red-plumed carmine bee-eater, each day brings a different adventure, from walking safaris, all-day game drives and gourmet picnics in the bush, to enjoying a golden sundowner on the banks of the river.

The Lower Zambezi National Park is already a luxurious safari experience. On this itinerary, we take that splendor to the next level, with the finest in organic safari luxury and uniquely tailored experiences that the park has to offer.

Stay at an oasis within an oasis, with elegantly appointed and spacious thatched or tented canopy suites, large decks and personal plunge pools on the banks of the Zambezi River. Wildlife roam freely through these low footprint camps, affording thrilling viewing opportunities. 2 Nights

One of Africa’s iconic landmarks and one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders, the Victoria Falls remain as breathtaking as when explorer David Livingstone first laid eyes on them in 1855. We walk through the mist along the Knife Edge Bridge overlooking the primordial gorge, take a boat ride along the top of the falls and lunch at the renowned Elephant Café, an elephant sanctuary and five-star organic farm-to-table dining experience.

Chosen for its prime location near Victoria Falls, cozy ambience, amenities and commitment to the local community, our lodge offers the quintessential Falls experience. Stay at a charming private cottage with air conditioning tucked amid mature stands of mahogany trees while your personal butler looks after you throughout your stay. Dine on a scenic cantilevered deck overlooking the river, relax by the pool or work out in the air-conditioned gym. A visit to the community gardens and schools that the lodge supports can also be arranged.

2 Nights

For a truly complete experience of Zambia, we recommend a stop in the capital of Lusaka. We organize a special behind-the-scenes visit to a baby elephant orphanage just outside the city and take you to an eclectic local art gallery, café and gem shop (Zambia is a major producer of emeralds, amethyst, aquamarine and other gems). There’s also the option to take a guided walk through a local community and learn about the local way of life.

A chic oasis in the bustling city, our art-inspired boutique hotel is a great complement to our time on safari. Enjoy a delicious meal, relax by the pool or at the spa, or sneak in a gym workout in between the day’s activities.
